Just a quick note to say that after surgery three weeks ago I'm recovering well at home. When the weather has been good in the garden and there's plenty of flowers there to enjoy, especially the roses and the philadelphus and their lovely fragrances. thank you for your kind comments and support. DeleteOh Linda, I am so very glad to hear from you and to know that all is as well as it can be right now. This morning, you popped into my mind and since then I have been waiting for a moment to get to my computer and send you an e-mail, and there, a post with news from you has popped up! I wonder if I somehow knew, or you did! I have been sending good thoughts, but today, I just felt that I needed to get in touch with you! I can go to bed tonight knowing that we have been in touch and that you are doing alright. I will of course continue to send good thoughts and to think of you. My nurse/health visitor daughter has been a great support in taking time off work to come with me to hospital appointments and during surgery and I'm blessed to have Mr. P. here cooking some tasty meals.
DeleteP.S. I should say our daughter used holiday leave to be with me at the hospital, not always easy to do when the NHS is under pressure with staffing levels.

ReplyDeleteYes it's a disappointing set back, shock and disappointment for myself and the family from results of the surgery biopsies, but was told the cancer hasn't spread to the lymph glands. I'm coping and I just have to stay positive. Others are far worse off than me. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
