Dear Friends, I had intended to write about my weekend walk in the woods now that the bluebells are
in flower, but that will wait until another day as yesterday morning we received a phone call from one of the family in Italy to let us know that my dear sister-in-law, Mr P's oldest sister, had died in hospital in the early hours. We're a close family and I'm very thankful that our children and grandchildren spent many holidays in Italy, have fond memories of all the family and of their Aunt Stella. The funeral is today at the abbey church as is the custom of quick arrangements in Italy. I shall take a break for the rest of the week and comments will be off for now. I know that you will be thinking of us at this time.
