The indoor hyacinths planted last Autumn are a lovely sight although one of them is pink when I had picked out two Delft blue from the basket of bulbs at the garden centre. The blue has a stronger fragrance than the pink and yesterday matched the blue sky! The pink schlumbergera flowered over Christmas.
The recent days have been cold with frost during the early mornings, but taking a look around the garden it was good to see a little colour from the miniature irises, crocuses and pansies as well as other signs of Spring.
