Our front and back gardens are full of flowers mostly in the shades of blue, pink and mauve. There are aquilegias, aubretias, bluebells, peonies, stocks and wallflowers. The lavender and phlox have yet to flower and soon there will be white poppies and cornflowers. The stocks have a lovely fragrance that we notice especially on these warm days and evenings. The fig tree and vine leaves are unfurling.
There has been plenty to do in the house and vegetable plot this week. However, we did get out this weekend and visited a dairy farm where there was an open day to promote local produce.
