Flower Wednesday

Linking with Riitta's Flower Wednesday

aechmea bromeliad (Blue Tango), anthurium,
gerbera and kalanchoe blossfeldiana

When I was in the Winter Garden recently I was pleased to see fresh new plantings by Sheffield City Council's Parks and Gardens Service. The jewel colours of the flowers look attractive planted around the edges of the large beds of sub tropical greenery.

In the Anglican Cathedral the formal displays of seasonal flowers
blend well with the colour tones of the ancient stonework.

St George's Chapel with the stained glass window of The Holy Spirit Chapel beyond it.

A display of carnations, chrysanthemums and lilies in a corner of the nave.

Wishing everyone a happy November!
