  4. Pictures are gorgeous. Good luck with your lemon tree - even if the lemons don't grow as big as that giant one - the flowers alone are worth the growing.

    1. Thank you Molly. We've had some success with growing a couple of orange trees from pips, although they're still very young, so we live in hope.

    1. Hello Amy! I hope you're having a good day today. If we manage to grow a little plant from the giant lemon it will receive plenty of TLC! I love my new bag . I'm looking forward to a special occasion when I can use it.

  8. I've never seen such a big lemon. I hope some of your pips germinate. I might join in with the Scavenger Hunt again as I used to do it when Kathy at Postcards from the PP used to organise it but when she stopped I got out of the discipline of taking the photos each month. All your photos are lovely:)

    1. Some of my photos to illustrate the subjects on the list have had to be old ones, but ones I haven't used before as it has been a difficult few weeks for outdoor photography. In the coming months I'll have something new to share :)

    1. Thanks Lisa. In future I'll have the list and then maybe look around and take photos rather than have the photos in my archive to match with the items on the list since it's supposed to be a scavenger hunt! It hasn't been a very productive month for photography.

  10. Welcome, Linda! I really enjoyed your photos, especially the Italian ones. Probably because I long to go there. How lovely that you have a second home in Italy. The bag was just beautiful. Maybe you can do a second set for February. I've been in the scavenger hunt almost two years now, and I like how it pushes me to get put and hunt for interesting things. (And sometimes, I have to dip into my archives too ~ wink wink!). Have a great week!

    1. Thank you Fundy Blue. I'm looking forward to the scavenger hunt, not only for the chance to share what I've found to photograph, but to see what everyone else comes up with. I shall be coming to visit your blog to see what you posted for January. Doing a second set for February is a good idea. I hadn't thought of that :)

    2. Very nice, Linda... I don't 'do' memes---but if I were to do one, it would be one like this --where you have to really use some creativity. You did GREAT.

Can't get over the size of that lemon.
      Hugs,
      Betsy

    1. Thank you Denise. All the grandchildren have a close relationship with their grandfather (Nonno) and I was happy to
walk behind and capture this shot of Grandson No 3 and my husband walking together. The lemon looks like a grapefruit doesn't it? However it is a lemon.
