A gift

We take our seasonal decorations down during 'Twelfth Night', following the custom that was a tradition in my childhood home).
On the morning when our guests began to pack their bags and collect up belongings, an idea that it would be lovely to have some more fresh flowers around the house came into my mind.  It was a lovely surprise, therefore, to receive a gift of flowers from our grandson before he left for home.

  3. What a lovely thought to leave you with flowers. We take our decorations down on Twelfth Night too and I've got some Hyacinths just coming out to cheer up the house as it looks quite bare afterwards:)
