Autumn colours in the park

After several weeks away from one of my favourite places i.e. the local park and library, the fact that it was a damp and misty day didn't deter me.  It wasn't the best weather to linger there, but nature's Autumn colours made up for the dull skies above.

  2. Your fall colors are so much like what we are experiencing here right now. Just beautiful! I had to smile when I read your comment about Japanese influence in my photo this morning. The picture was actually taken at the Japanese gardens. My computer crashed a couple of days and I am drawing from old pictures on my old computer.

  4. This is what we miss in southern California. We do have one tree on our block that has some color change and drops its leaves....so I just walk down the street and rustle my feet through the fallen leaves and close my eyes to pretend I am someplace else!

  5. The colours don't last very long but they're so beautiful while they do.

  7. It may have been rainy, but the moisture made the leaves on the sidewalk shine. This is a beautiful park -- no wonder it is one of your favorite places.

  8. Some lovely Autumnal photos, it might not be my favourite season for weather but the colours are beautiful. By the way I am not surprised the rock reminds you of Welsh slate considering where that beach is. :)

  9. I always love the rich colours of Autumn - it's my favourite season.
The beautiful perennials providing us with flowers and the golden leaves falling on the pathways until Winter takes her grip.
Your photos are beautiful Linda - thank you!
